Big Concerts has announced that Irish female singing group Celtic Woman will perform live in South Africa for the first time as part of their Believe Tour at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City (Johannesburg) on 28 September and at the Grand Arena, GrandWest (Cape Town) on 2 October. The concerts are presented in partnership with M-Net.

Celtic Woman, featuring vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Lambe, Celtic violinist Máiréad Nesbitt and newest member Susan McFadden, will be performing a range of classic Irish songs including 'The Water Is Wide', 'Green Grow the Rushes', 'A Woman’s Heart', 'The Parting Glass'; timeless pop anthems ('Sailing'); and inspirational songs ('You’ll Never Walk Alone', 'Ave Maria') with their signature Celtic Woman twist.

Each of Celtic Woman’s past project releases débuted at #1 on the Billboard World Music Chart. With more than six-million CDs/DVDs and over two-million concert tickets sold worldwide, Celtic Woman has distinguished their sound with a spectacular live performance under the distinct musical direction of Emmy-nominated music producer, David Downes. When chatting about the tour, he commented, “Our new Believe Tour is going to be an enthralling live stage production featuring the incredible Chloe, Lisa, Mairead and now the inspiring voice of our newest member Susan.” McFadden has joined the group as founding member Lisa Kelly is expecting her fourth child.
